- Sickness; Machalath, probably the title (initial word) of a popular song.
- Mail
- A flexible fabric made of metal rings interlinked. It was used especially for defensive armor. Hence generally, armor, or any defensive covering.
- Mammon
- Riches; wealth; or the god of riches.
- Maneh
- A Hebrew weight for gold or silver, being one hundred shekels of gold and sixty shekels of silver. Ezekiel 45.
- Maran-atha
- An exclamation of the approaching divine judgment.
- Maschil
- Instructive, i.e. a didactic poem.
- Mattock
- A tool to grub up weeds or roots; a grubbing hoe.
- Michtam
- An engraving, i.e. (techn.) a poem.
- Midwife
- A woman that assists other women in childbirth.
- Mina
- A weight or denomination of money. The mina of the Old Testament was valued at sixty shekels.
- Miter
- A sacerdotal ornament worn on the head by bishops and certain abbots, on solemn occasions.
- Muthlabben
- To die for the son, probably the title of a popular song — death.
