UPDATE 4-5-2015: The words of Christ are able to be displayed in the appropriate blue color on the Nook by enabling the option, "Publisher defaults." For greyscale devices, this option will display the words of Christ in a dark grey color. (Thanks to reader Joshua Holman for this update.)
