Navigation Improvements for the ePub and MOBI Files

I have taken some time to improve the way a user navigates the ePub and MOBI files of the Revised Common Version. Before, navigation was geared toward getting you to the place you want to begin reading. That sounds fine, but what if you want to go back to the beginning of a book to go to a different chapter? Well, the way the navigation was originally designed, you would have to go all the way back to the main table of contents, then go to the book you want, and then go to the chapter. This doesn't make much sense if you simply wish to go to another chapter in the same book. So, with that in mind, I have designed the navigation to give you the option to go back to the chapter listing of the book you are reading at the end of each chapter. You can of course continue reading on to the next chapter as you always have been able to do.

When you reach the end of a chapter, you will notice a trio of asterisks (* * *). When you click or tap those asterisks, you will be taken back to the chapter listing of that book (turning the page will simply go on to the next chapter). Now you can more easily go to another chapter in the same book without having to leave that book.

I am really excited about this improvement and I could only hope it would be beneficial to you as you read the RCV. I am now looking for the next big improvement.

I have updated the files on the Downloads page.
